C.H. Guenther & Son (CHG), a global food manufacturer based in San Antonio, Texas, has been recognized by Newsweek as one of America\u2019s Greatest Workplaces for Veterans.<\/p>\n
The company demonstrates a commitment to hiring and serving veterans. It recently commenced a sponsorship program that pairs new veterans with workplace veterans to mentor and help them transition to CHG. The company also has a veterans\u2019 employee resource group, celebrates veterans at its plants across the US as well as Poppy (Remembrance) Day in Canada, participates annually in Wounded Warrior 5K and other events, and gives unique coins and mementos to employee veterans in appreciation of their service.<\/p>\n
